Timothy Louis Hoffman

Timothy L. Hoffman
Timothy Louis Hoffman was born in Tacoma, Washington on August 26, 1952. He attended Holy Rosary School and graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 1970. In 1975 he married Margie Boyle, and they built a home together with their three children in Roy, Washington. Improving his home and his yard became his life’s work. One of his great prides was working with his father, George Hoffman, at their auto body shop in Lakewood, Washington for many years. He is survived by his wife, Margie, his three children Carolyn (Micah), George (Karen), and Joseph; his four grandchildren Emma, Maggie, Timothy, and Tessa; and his sisters, Shelia and Patsy.
Tim loved to read and consumed every book he could find about Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. He loved his model trains and airplanes. He loved baseball and rock and roll and his dog, Sammy, who was by his side till the end. He was happy just to sit in his backyard and listen to the Mariners on a warm summer day. He loved his family above all else; he would do anything for them. He passed away in the home he loved on June 11, 2018.
Funeral mass will be at St. Columban’s Catholic Church on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 11:00, preceded by a viewing at 10:00 am. His ashes will be interned at Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma on Wednesday, June 20, at 1:30 pm. Condolences can be left at www.edwardsmemorial.com
