Obituary for Mary Ann Cooper

Mary Ann Cooper
Our angel on Earth went to be with the Lord just two days before her 101st birthday. Mary was born in Washburn, N.D. on 3/30/1917. In 1943, she came to Washington to be near her sister. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" and was employed by the Boeing Co. to build airplanes for the war effort. Later, she met and married Bob Cooper and together they raised four children. She was a proud member of St. Ann's parish for 56 years. She devoted her life to the Lord and her family and will leave a big void in the lives of all her loved ones.
She is survived by her children, Tom (LaVerne), Sharon, Larry, Diane and numerous grand/great/great-great grandchildren, as well as her lifetime friend, Carmella. She was predeceased in death by her parents, husband (Bob), sister (Rachel), son-in-law (Brad), and many loved ones and friends.
Private family services were previously held at Calvary Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com. Arrangements by Gaffney Funeral Home, 253-292-9565.
