Jimmie Joseph Moroni

Jimmie was born in Tacoma on July 27, 1928 to Gino & Lena Moroni. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, & great-grandpa. He was raised in Meaderville, Montana until he was 12 years old then moved back to Tacoma with his parents where he would meet and marry the love of his life, Dorothy. Jimmie was proud of his Italian heritage & after retiring from Heidelberg Brewery he decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and opened his restaurant "Moroni's Little Italy." He loved spending time with his family & friends & also enjoyed fishing, hunting & traveling, especially his trips to Italy. He never lost his great sense of humor. He had his doctors and nurses laughing up until the day he passed, October 19, 2017. We are left with deep sadness but wonderful memories of the great life we shared. Left behind to cherish his memories is his loving family, his wife Dorothy, son Gino, daughters Toni & Linda (Garry) Horst. His youngest daughter Sandra preceded him in death. He was also the proud papa of 8 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.


A memorial mass & reception will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on October 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
