I met David in 6th grade. He sat behind me and entertained me every day. I actually looked more forward to going to school than I usually did (I always liked school) because I would wonder what funny thing he was going to do each day. We lost track when I went to a private school the following year. We caught up a couple of years ago finding out we had looked for each other for years and kept falling short. We both loved the Peanuts Halloween and Christmas shows and would alert one another to set the machine to tape them when they were airing. We also watched the Brady Bunch Renovation Show and reminded each other every week there was a new episode and talked the following day of what we each thought were the highlights. I’m pretty sure we are both still kids at heart. I am so thankful and grateful for the time we finally got to have and talked or texted daily. I am sad that I feel like he left us too soon. I will always cherish my memories.

May this tree grow strong and tall, just like David, and rooted in love.
